Musik Mag was a free newspaper-shaped giveaway with Superstereo, a hi-fidelity monthly magazine. This issue featured a cover entirely devoted to  Lennon's death, with articles by Riccardo Bertoncelli, Roberto Gatti and Daniele Caroli about John's legacy (3 full pages).

Headband bought circa 1981. Back in those days fans like me used to buy such useless collectors items. I never wore it and I would have only if I got paid quite a large sum of money!

Of course, the free cd is "The White Album Recovered" (disc 1) featuring Gabriella Cilmi, Joan As Police Woman and others covering the album with songs in the same order as on the original. Disc 2 came with next month's issue.

John Savage reports on the newly remastered Beatles catalogue, Andrew Male writes about the game Rock Band and lastly John Harris investigates the making of "Abbey Road" with some help from Paul McCartney.

"Abbey Road Now!" is the free cd included:16 artists cover each song of the final Beatle album; the tracks are in the same order as on the original. Robyn Hitchcock, Glenn Tillbrook and Gomez are among the featured artists.
