In the summer of 1968 Don McCullin spent a special day with the Fab Four taking hundreds of pictures in various London locations. Some of the shots from this sessions became famous while others were never seen until the release of this beautiful book which features McCullin's work from that day.
The settings were unusual, for instance the East End dock or the community hall where Paul took a chance to play piano with a parrot on his shoulder.
By the time of these photo shootings, during the White Album sessions, the band was already in the process of falling apart so it was a lucky occasion to have the four Beatles posing together for the camera for more than a quick snapshot. Not to be missed!
